Your Emcee: Olivia Bailey
Olivia Bailey is a native of Southwest Virginia. She holds a master’s degree in Community and Organizational Leadership and bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications and Public Policy; Community Service from Emory; Henry College. Olivia serves as the Director of External Affairs for Communities in Schools of Appalachian Highlands, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting students and families with basic and critical communities resources in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. Prior to her current role, she also served as a Community Liaison Officer for the Virginia Office of the Attorney General and Director of Marketing for Friends of Southwest Virginia. She is also a passionate community advocate, serving on the board for Trails to Recovery, a long-term disaster recovery nonprofit founded after Hurricane Helene. Olivia is also a state appointee to the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center Board of Trustees. In her free time, Olivia loves travel, live music, and running. She can often be found along the streets in downtown Abingdon with her golden retriever, Emory.

Amelia J. Stansell is a community leader and advocate dedicated to advancing peace, service, and human dignity. An active member of the Rotary Club of Warrenton, she is deeply engaged in initiatives that raise community awareness and promote prevention education locally through the Fauquier Anti Sex Trafficking Alliance, a collaborative partnership and service project of the Rotary Club of Warrenton – and globally as Vice-Chair of the Rotary Action Group
Against Slavery. Through her leadership, speaking, and program development, she equips organizations and individuals to take meaningful action in protecting vulnerable populations
and building safer, more resilient communities. Amelia has spoken about this cause at five Rotary International conventions, countless Rotary club and district events and many schools throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
